NEW RELEASE: European Destroyed Building Series Installment 1

Ever since our Wilhelmstrasse 1 building sold out we knew that buildings and street elements should be a staple part of our production. The decision was made to roll out a ruined town, complete with blown out roofs, debris bags filled with bricks and dual sidewalk sections for a larger diorama footprint.

TCS releases the first building of this ruined town series. We’ve chosen to create a Spring style and winter variant so as to cover the themes most utilized by our customers. Note the extra sidewalk section for the opposite side of the street. Also we’ll be sure to put together an add on debris bag for the next building section. Each building comes with the propaganda poster shown and the top roof sections are removable.

Expect these and more releases to come as we continue to rollout our end of May catalog goodies.

CS00710 Ruined Building Spring w/bricks,poster,extra sidewalk section $179.90
CS00711 Ruined Building Winter w/bricks,poster,extra sidewalk section $179.90

Tally Hoo!

Brian

They look like facades which I can use and the buildings look pretty good. What are they made of?

And what are the dimensions - height, width and two lengths with and without the extra sidewalk

Thanks Brian

Great questions, so: The roadway including the molded on single sidewalk is 10.5" x 10.5" however if one chooses to add on the single molded sidewalk that comes with the set the road area can grow to 14" x 10.5".

The building itself is 7" x 10.5" tall and the roof section is 5" tall and is removable. So with the roof section added to the top the wall is 7" x 15.5" in height.

The building is made of heavy resin and metal ribs.

Cheers,

Brian

Looks like my shelf will hold 2 buildings side by side. It looks like the building is the same width as the road section which is 10.5" and not 7"

Sorry for the confusion Terry: The roadway including the molded on single sidewalk is 10.5" x 10.5" however if one chooses to add on the single molded sidewalk that comes with the set the base area can grow to 14" x 10.5".

The building itself is 10.5" x 10.5" tall and the roof section is 5" tall and is removable. So with the roof section added to the top the wall is 10.5" x 15.5" in height.

Look nice But would be good to see the. Complete street to be honest

There seemed a quiet phase recently for TCS, but behind the facade Brian has been working overtime. These street scenes look great and should build to an interesting layout, well done^&cool, Robin.

Nice facade, I`ll certainly get one, more likely the spring/summer version. I get that the building comes with a removable roof and the sidewalk next to it; I just didn`t understand if it also comes with the street and the opposite sidewalk with it...^&confuse

Sure: street is included as well as one attached sidewalk section, also included is an additional sidewalk section for the opposite side of the street.

Brian,

Thanks for clearing that out to me! One more reason to get it, congratulations on the initiative of this new series of buildings, I`m sure they will be a big success!

Very nice! I'm not sure which version I will get, because both look great! It looks very sturdy too. More exciting still is to hear that it's only the beginning of these releases. I hope there are platforms on the rear of the structure to accommodate figures for window placement. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the town releases unfold. Congrats to TCS!!
Joe

The winter version is very nice with great soft colours. The spring one is too colorful for my taste.

Hopefully one of the "Landmark"buildings will get done.....such as a Reich Chancellory Facade ^&grin

A Reichstag facade or Reich Chancellory will be a nice addition that I will readily buy ^&grin
