New release june contest begins!!!! (1 Viewer)

4th Kentucky Confederate Calvary with a battery of Williams guns.

As promised our 2nd Annual monthly contest for free prizes begins now. We have four new product(s) set types to be released in July. The contest winner will name one of the product sets. It could be from any genre that we CURRENTLY manufacture.

Here's the drill, I will provide an opening clue(s) and every so often I will add to those clues so that players may piece togethor the correct answer. The person with the first correct answer is the winner.

There are however a few rules for anyone that would like to play. Firstly one must be registered at he Collectors Showcase prior to winning. Simply fill out the newsletter info dialogue box on our site ( www.thecollectorsshowcase.com ) and your in ( if you've already registered no need to register again ). You may only provide one attempt at an answer in a 24 hour period.

And finally the prize: You may choose ANY one set we have in stock. That's right the prize is of your choosing not ours. It could be an AFV or an infantry/cavalry set. You decide.

The opening clue is:

" Macedonian and Romans used weapons whose evolution.... "

Gentleman: good luck!

regards,

Brian

Not laughing... makes perfect sense... 1. The assegai 2. "Zulu Nation" 3. brought and stolen weapons from the British.

What were the "automatic weapons" and carbines? Quiver-fed iklwas and chopped down Towers?:D plus every prior conflict required full mobilization under the amubutho system.

The opening clue was:

" Macedonian and Romans used weapons whose evolution....became the lance "

The following clue was:

" It was in this war that for the very first time entire nations were mobilized for war ....this is of course can only be the Napoleonic war "

The last additional clue was:

" Contrary to popular myth and legend this unit did indeed fight with carbines and automatic weapons...these are: Polish Lancers!

The set to be issued in July, ( among four sets to be released ) are eight Napoleonic Polish Lancers.

Lancer was truly closest and qualifies for the runner up prize ( thats 2 for 2 now for the Lancer, c'mon guys he's taking all the prizes! ).

Great Fun!:)

Best regards,

Brian

Good luck all!

That was my next guess:D Congrats Lancer. Are pictures coming soon?

Thanks to Brian for this contest :)(and wonderful interruption to my daily grind) and a congrats to Lancer for being the closest dart on the board!
Mike
