New Release: Shane, Wild West Gunslinger!

The holiday season catalog wouldn’t be complete without a great 1/6th scale figure addition. This time we’ve gone down that dusty trail and are pleased to introduce Shane: Wild West Gunslinger. This limited edition hombre is just itching to keep you motivated. Fingers a’ twitching and just waiting for the draw!

Complete with terrain base and certificate of authenticity. We think this statue will do great. Keep those eyes peeled for even more holiday announcements. Be sure to get on the catalog mailing list, its free! www.thecollectorsshowcase.com

That looks great! Well done Brian

When can we expect an Israeli soldier c.1960s? {sm3}

Shane ^&confuse don't see any resemblance at all...................

But does resemble a Good, Bad or Ugly bloke...........:wink2:

He better hope Clint or Sergio Leone (or his heirs) don't get wind or he might be facing litigation.

this is actually a redone figure from very early on. I bought an unfinished kit many years ago and had it painted. It is packed away, but I will post photos this weekend. Pretty cool figure and if different from what I have, I may consider it. ANyhow back with photos.

Here is the original Gunslinger pro painted from many moons ago!

I might have to get the new one too, they are different

The new one is definitely more realistic to Clint!

Brian should send the first one to Clint Eastwood, he will love it.

That's a must have for me. On order. I thought the serape was brown, but going back to the actual film it was green.

Here's an interesting clip of a Clint Eastwood talking about the spaghetti films.

Neat figure, but I'm curious about the name applied. Shane was set in Wyoming in the later period of the American West and was about a gunfighter hoping to change his life. The figure is the "man with no name" from movies set along the Mexican border towns and is about a man who is quite comfortable with his life. It's kind of like CS Sherman tanks; really close but not quite what it says it is.

Ah, the old curious route. Nowhere does it say anything about either movie? Incidentally, the name Shane comes from the way the
name Seán is pronounced in the Ulster dialect of the Irish language, as opposed to Shaun or Shawn. Maybe it is just the name of a friend.
Anyway the name isn't exclusive to any movie character.

Just take it for what it is. Mine was supposed to be shipped yesterday, but wasn't. Not good. When it gets here I'll name it whatever I want.
Maybe Luke, Wild West Gunslinger after my dog.

P.S. for the curious. They don't wear serapes in Wyoming.

My Wild West figured arrived. Quite nice. Anyway I'm pleased. I think I'll get the
Confederate Flag Bearer and the Robert E. Lee also.
