Well, it was in the 70ies, and I followed the tips given by F Verlinden in a shop here in Belgium
Spray all final colour
Spray same colour added with some white, in cloud
Spray a varnish
Drybrush base colour + white, again more white, lighter dry brush, again...
Mix black ( oil with turbentine ) let it flow in recesses
Dry brush, dry brush, dry brush lighter and lighter colour smaller and smaller touch
Again a wash in black with more turbentine
Dry brush , dry brush
Mix oil burn umber wih turbentine, let it flow from up to down
Again
Back to some light dry brush
Camouflage net, made with medical bandage put in a mix of water and white glue
Put it in form on the model
Paint dark green, dry brush lighter here and there, again, again ...

Neil,

I have one what do you need to know about it?

PS They don't travel very well so expect multiple pieces particularly the tracks

Mark could you post some photos of the Afv plus what your opinion of it please ? Thank

I really like it and as far as i know there is nothing else on the market anyway. Robin.
