I like the Stewart and horse figures. That's one of the reason I like JJD figures, because we can have many vignettes within a diorama.
love the new releases for april!!!!!!! nice to see a french officer leading troops into battle. haven't had one of those since fm05 "death of captain beaujeu".still hoping for a french marine officer w/pistol and sword in hand one day.
battle on the monongahela is turning out to be one of john's greatest masterpiece's of all time. i truly thought the series would be over after bm14 (the wounding of braddock). with john expanding his horizon on the toy soldier world the series was put on the back burner for sometime and then it just exploded. Lt.jenkins of the virginia provincials club figure which could be used for the botm was his first. five club set's would follow. halkett&son, chief scarouyady, Lt.dunbar, chaplain philip hughes and future club set captain stewart. eight new set's of the 44th regiment of foot and six new french set's from the battle of the POA which can be used for the botm (especially the campaign dress) have been added to this great series. I sure hope there is more to come in the near future^&grin^&grin^&grin!!!!!!!!
