British Artillery Troops!!! Totally unexpected, but much appreciated. Very much hoping that the 60th will include some figures suitable for camp scenes, relaxing, making preparation for battle, returning and supply trains. Similar in theme to the wonderful WWI figures.

Mark...

hehehe...

yes they are...

or maybe a better name would be "pedestals" in this case...

but I like the concept on these figures...

EVEN MORE superb Indians ... PLUS ... with the detachable bases they can go anywhere.
The canoes are on my wish list for Santa to take note!!!

But I am kinda' worried since I am not sure which of Santa's two lists I am on ...{sm2}{sm2}

wonder if John is planning on selling canoes separately to utilize the CAN04A and CAN04B...

I would buy 2 of them if he did...

WOW, WOW, WOW!!!!!! the British Artillery at last, I was waiting for it for a long time! The previous one was sold out for a long time and was time to see a new version, grazie John!
I like also the Indians with separate base...John, have you planned the long canoe with 'white' soldiers on it??
Stunning the Bearn Command set too, the attacking scene, the Royal American... great month, great Xmas!
Thank you,
Carlo

Hoping to see a much longer canoe, 8-12 seater, slow release of figures is fine, but a larger canoe would be wonderful (a separate release with maybe a few packs or bundles of furs).

Much as I love Artillery, Guns and Gunners,

I have to question the pose showing an officer firing the gun !!!!!

Normally the gun is commanded by a Sergeant, and officers didn't get dirty .....

Maybe the officer is point out the target, and John has only posed him for display purposes..... ??? Hope so !!!

We shall just have to see what other gunners come our way in next few months and hopefully we get a full crew, much like his forthcoming WW1 Heavy Artillery :)

Hey Mike ... I would think that he has to...
I can see buying just the figures (if that is someone's interest) or adding one or two (maybe more) canoes to make a waterfront dio.

Really like the way the de Bearn Regiment is shaping up. All I have to do now is find funding for another French unit.:rolleyes2: -- Al

I had some correspondence with John today...

a suggestion/request I mentioned the other day...

well John is way ahead of me...and has already planned and started some "stand alone" sets of uninhabited canoes for his new sitting/kneeling sets...

"Naked Canoes"...hehehe...as John refers to them are already in the works...

4 new naked canoe sets are being developed already which will include "camp bits"...

we can look for these around summer time...

he has allowed me to share 2 prototype photos...

one showing an "XXXL" sized canoe that will hold several figures...as Ken Dunne suggested...

I'm going to have a river with canoes out the wazoo when I get these...

I'm delighted with this news...

now I'm gonna start bugging him for new sitting figures to fill the "XXXL" canoe...^&grin

Wonderful news. Mike.
All the fighting Indian sets lately have been fantastic (as usual) but my Indian Village dio needs a lot more (non-combat) activities. This is already shaping up top be a real good 2015 ....{sm3}

Mike, thank you, very good news! I suggest an XXXXXXXL canoe like this...not so big of course but...!
cheers

Carlo,

I really do no see any problem at all in having the really, really big canoe, as depicted in your photo. The pros far outweigh any cons. I will happily suffer under the burden. The bigger the better!!!!

Cheers!!!

yes Ken, the bigger the better!!!! may be 2015 will be the year of the armies by waterway....
Hi John where did you put this beautiful landing troop boat please?...Ken (and me) we are ready to happily suffer...
