These arrived at my doorstep this morning JJD RFB-05B Girls with Guns #2 . . . . Prepping for the Drums Along the Mohawk range. I know these young ladies were released under the Raid on St. Francis range but these will work out just fine with DAM. Besides, you just gotta luv girls with guns . . . .

I have all the JJD's RSF Indians, John's Canoes series and many of the BAL items In my opinion ... all of John's 18th century series can be blended together with no issue at all. Looking forward to adding the "Drums ... Mohawk" series.

Any student of 17th, 18th and even 19th century US history will confirm that the "Ladies" were pretty handy with firearms. The AWI is full of stories of women fighting ... yes fighting ... alongside their men.

Nice sets you have there, sir.

If anyone is looking for the BAL-10 Wagon, We still have it in stock. The Cart Horses tend to come and go on Consignment but it is worth to watch for if you need any!

Will this series be produced in large numbers so it will be available for a while? Or will it be like the aztecs and ancients collections that sell out quickly?

Although I am "NO WAY" in the JJD chain ... from recent observations ... my guess is a limited "one-run-then-done".
That seems to be the trend lately, so I wouldn't hesitate.

My order is already into my distributor and it sounds like his allotment is running low, so DON'T hesitate.
Maybe, if it is a big success, John might consider a second run ...??? ^&confuse

I read the book in 5th grade as a class assignment and loved it (most of the other kids didn't care for it). I also read it a few times as an adult, as well as saw the movie.

Based on previous experience, I’d say it’s quite likely. As examples, I believe that there were multiple production runs of both the Brown Sopwith Camel and the MvR Tripe. More recently, Jenkins appeared to underestimate demand for the new carrier deck bases. It took several months, but the items have reappeared in stock. As always, contact JJD and lobby for what you want.:)

The Leatherstocking Tales were the first novels that I can recall reading from cover to cover.

Just ordered the John Ford classic movie on DVD to gain some inspiration. Features Henry Fonda. Robin.

That certainly seems to be the way of it today. It seems that JJD is on fire right now. Many of his new releases are sold out within the month. If you really want them, don't wait long!

Morning Brendan,

Of course, the BIG issue with this approach is that it does put a "strain" on the wallet. :redface2:

My guess is most collectors, have there fingers into multiple of series with multiple of Manufactures. So when John comes out with his latest on Raid On St. Francis; and WWII Bunker Hill; and Interwar Aviation; and NOW Drums Along the Mohawk.. . that does make things a bit .... ummm .... interesting.

Couple that with my K&C Marines; Japanese Naval and Army; and US Navy ... well you get the picture ...{sm2}

Oh well, can't take it with you so ..... ENJOY!
