New releases for october 2010 (1 Viewer)

I wish it were that easy. If it were just the basic uniform, just a few minor adjustments, but the pack, hat lines, and various accessories are just too different to allow for a quick repaint. :(

On the other hand, I am sure John has all the "pieces" that were used to assemble those figures to make some pretty easy new masters...and I too would buy the British lot!

What would be involved in "converting" the US artillery crew to British ? ... would that just be re-painting the figures ?

If its only re-paint work .. here's an idea for JJD to double its offering of British, and/or US crews  I would buy all the British crew :)

me too...

please convert both sides...

USCH to BCH...

BCH to USCH...

you do it John...

I will buy them...

I would love a large artillery crew of 15-20 men...

I really like John's artillery sets and the fact that you can buy the figures without the cannons.
I have been waiting for the latest release of the 1812 British artillery figures before I got all five figures.
My intention is to use them in a Napoleonic battle scene and use the Del Prado cannons I have accumulated instead of pay out for more cannons.
But now that I have seen the American artillery figures I like those poses as well and was prepared to modify and repaint them to look like British.
The idea of John actually doing the conversion for us is a brilliant idea.
So I agree lets see those American artillery poses in British uniforms.
I'll buy the lot.

By the way that siege cannon looks amazing. I'm having that. I can just see that in a Peninsular war dio....

Whilst I appreciate your interest in both US & British crews .. John might be more inclined to experiment by .. first converting US to British crews, as British crews would most likely attact a wider segment of NAP collectors.

It would be interesting to tell what the respective sales figures are ..

OD...I can't argue with that logic...I'm sure there is a much larger audience for the Brit side as they will fit in the European Nap series...and I welcome any and all he would consider converting...I guarantee I would buy all the Brit artillery crew he converts...

John...if you're reading this...see how we're trying to help...hehehe...:p
