martyn:)

martyn these figures look great except one thing, where is the wood on the rifles, they are almost all shiny silver which of course doesn't reflect what they actually looked like in real life. This is what holds me back on ll. I love the figures but the rifles are just not realistic. I love the poses and evrything else. Does anybody agree with me?

Those are fantastic additions to what is a growing range for LL. Will need to make a plan to acquire some of them.

Hi HAWKEYE

The original MARTINI-HENRY had the barrel exposed, and held in place by barrel bands

The Trophy Martini-Henry had no visible barrel, here is a side by side picture of two LL and one Trophy. The LL MH could be considered more accurate with the visible barrel

MARTINI1.jpg

Here is the wood marked on the rifles, for some reason the images have disappeared from your quote

Wonderful sets , Martyn... Mike is getting better and better with his figures.
What were price tags on these two sets?
The Horse Gun Team definitely needs another pair of horses, I hope Mike has it as an option.
Please post picture of other LL sets you got when you have a chance.
Thank you.
Al
