On the topic of new releases, I saw an ad for some mounted Crusaders today. The ad was in the Oct/Nov Toy Soldier Collector magazine at a local Barnes and Noble store. There were 5 mounted Crusaders total, including the two previewed on the workbench. They looked really good and I think the Crusaders fans will be happy with them.

And no, I didn't buy the magazine. I didn't want to spend $15 for one ad!

Yeah, I imagine you will like them. I just got a quick glimpse of the ad before my wife was ready to leave, but there were certainly five of them. There was on pic in the middle that had all five in a line abreast, which looked as good as you would expect.

I only have one Crusader, but you Crusades collectors are lucky! The mounted figures and the wall sets are out of sight!! They almost good enough to make me endanger my marriage even more, but I have to stop somewhere.

Fine figures with many details on the sculpture and the painting, weathering seems to be top notch....Unbeatable

New preorders for more Romans and the first dozen or so Renaissance figures are up on the FL site. Shouldn't be long now before the newsletter!
