I just got in this new T-34/76 RA026. I have the old RA013 T34/85 and decided not to get the recent summer T-34/76, but when the winter one came along, I preordered it right away. I do like the paint sheme and decided to get the version that included the tank commander. I like the fact that the commander's hatch can be displayed either open or closed, so I can put it in a "buttoned up" action dio if needed. Here are a few shots of a quick set up.

Hey Duke, excellent shots mate, what a superb looking tank she is. Like you I have the older T34 and very much like it, but this new white one looks terrific. Thanks for posting, am tempted by this.

Best

The T34 looks great . A nice piece to have in your collection. But since Russia is not my favourite battle-field I will not purchase it .
guy:)

I saw it in Chicago and thought it was nicely done. However, since I'm not a big fan of Eastern Front, probably won't get it. Otherwise, I would.

Gentlemen, I appreciate the comments. I know some of you are not collectors of the Eastern front and will pass on T-34's, but for me being a WWII collector (of all theaters of the war), the T-34 is a must. It was produced in such large numbers and played such a vital part in the war, my collection wouldn't be complete without at least a couple of examples. The simple yet innovative sloping armor was such a shock to the Germans that they took that idea and basically duplicated it in the design of the Panther and later the King Tigers.

Just like Andy, I never say never ^&grin

Ugh enough T-34's. Okay I know it was significant and played a major role in the war, but they are soooo boring. Sorry the models are great although I would like to see guys hanging off the rails, but the tank makes the Sherman look like a masterpiece!

I would love to see a Russian KV-1. There were a number of them and they lead into the JS series which mounted the largest tank gun of the war. Just a thought.

Is that the new FOV KV-1?

Yes, that's a FOV KV-1 that I repainted and added some Tamiya decals. I put the new K&C tank commander in the turret and he's a little too big for the 1/32 scale tank. I still plan to put a heavy coat of dust on the tank to dirty it up some, but just haven't gotten around to doing that yet.

I am right there with you Duke on the Eastern front {bravo}}

Duke,
Very nice pics, thanks for sharing them. My winterized T-34 arrived a few days ago, and I am very pleased with it to say the least. The winter version really POPS and brings out all the detail of the model. I hope K & C has plans to produce more Russian armor. I'm looking forward to picking up the new Russian troops as well. Hopefully there are tank riders in the cards. Thanks again for the excellent pics!

Joe
