Hi guys,

Here are some pictures of the diorama that David has been working on for me. It is almost completed. Once I have the tanks and vehicles in place this diorama should come to life! Can't wait to see the finished product. It will be on display next Saturday at the London show......Sammy

WOW ,
That is awesome .. I'm jealous ^&grin He certainly does fantastic work . Regards Gebhard

Sammy, that is one great looking diorama. Of course, once you add those figures and AFVs, it will be outstanding! You should be rightly proud of this piece when you get it.

That's really well done. I am trying to get as good as this diorama. Still work in progress for me. Simmo.:salute:

Brilliant build. And the painting / weathering is just perfect.
Realistic weathering is IMO the most difficult part of modelling - and this is a perfect example of top weathering.

Congratulations to this great diorama.

Thanks for the kind words fellows, no doubt David at TM Terrain does some great work, this is a not a very large dio (buildings) but still done with alot of small detail throughout it, once it's finished and all the small detail is there it's a pretty cool looking set-up for some First Legion tanks/vehicles, I will post some finished pics next week...Sammy

What an excellent looking facade Sammy. I really need to come up with a project for the guys at TM Terrain.

It's a great top flight diorama regardless, looking forward to the finished product!

This is an excellent war torn building facade. I like the downed overhead cable wires.....very realistic.

Thanks very much for sharing. I shall look forward to more pictures soon.

Raymond:)

Sammy,
I assume that this one, along with the first very impressive diorama by TMT, will lead to a connaisseur collection of master-made scenics for your WWII collection.
Looking forward to see it equipped with troops and figures and to hear how it was received at the upcoming London Show.
Congratulations to this excellent piece of work, both to the creator and the owner {bravo}}

Beautiful dio Sammy, you'll have a lot of fun with this.

Thanks for the comments about the diorama.
I hope you don't mind but can I take this opportunity to plug my new blog:

http://terrainandtoysoldiers.blogspot.com

I am trying to cover my terrain projects as well as explaining how I do things so hopefully make it useful to readers who want to give it a go. If you follow the London Toy Soldier label then you can follow Sammy's diorama progress.
The full story will be complete after next weekend at the show.

Sammy ,
I keep finding myself looking at your new street fighting dio that David has built, and it is really fantastic . You are really putting yourself together a World Class collection there man {bravo}} . Who knows what is gonna happen down the road when the new Western Front line opens {eek3} maybe you could open a museum and charge admission to help with the cost of your ever growing Fantastic collection...Hell I'd pay a couple of bucks to check it out .... really cool.^&cool^&cool congratulations my friend .. Regards Gebhard
