Agree with McKenna about the tank, but having seen the figures in person, I am a bit underwelmed. There is nothing wrong with them, they just don't live up to the shear awsomeness of this beast of a tank.
Getting back to the tank itself Andy is correct that it may be the most detailed and is certainly the most correctly scaled of K&C's Tigers. The beat up, bent fenders over the tracks, the snorkels on the back, all the right parts in all the right places. Did I mention its HUGE! As far as the white and red numbers are concerned, it appears from the photos on the box and in the packaging that some of the Tunesian Tigers had white outlined red numbers. One of these tanks with the red outlined with white numbers is #75, another appears to be #124 (Andy only missed by one!). I am glad be put the red identification flag and the Afrika Corps symbol on the tank, as it would look awefully bland without them, and livens up the appearance quite a bit. I still think there is room for improvement on K&C tanks, in comparison to the $300 Figarti Tiger or maybe the newest Honour Bound Tigers (we will have to see them before we can make any judgment on that), but for a pure polystone tracked vehicle, this is the zenith of K&C's efforts to date. However, the Elefant and the Chaffee looked even better in the photographs, so I guess its wait until next month . . .
