New toy soldier company has been launched (1 Viewer)

I noticed that they have a 40mm line. Is that going to sell well?

We are the European agent for these figures including the 40mm which are aimed at the Wargaming market.
Mark-TMterrainLtd.

I know their new web page is empty, however do they have a web site showing the 40mm figures? I went to TMterrain and they aren't yet showing it listed as a line they are carrying.

King's Man

The picture looks great. Pete / Shannon , will you be carrying this line?

You'll have to head on over to George (Minutemen Toy Soldiers) for these--he's got the North American exclusive:).

I took the liberty of taking a photo or two of the advert in TS&MF, sorry I had a problem with the flash.
They look pretty good to me.

Hi, Guys,

I apologize for any confusion caused by the delay of our launch until just this past week. I've read through all of these posts now that I've finished off our website and can answer any questions that George hasn't yet.

George is our US Trade Show dealer while Mark over at TM terrain will be covering tradeshows in the UK as well as generally importing the figures. Mail order and online sales are to be done through us at www.firstlegionltd.com over phone, email, or fax.

As I'm going back to Boston for Christmas on the 18th, I'm going to bring figures with me to hand to George personally as he'll get them that way just as fast as if they're shipped out from the warehouse. Plus it gives me an excuse to get together with him and talk about the Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics something that I'm sorely missing overseas here.

In any case, if there are any questions that our website doesn't answer, please feel free to email me at mpavone@firstlegionltd.com. Also, be sure to check out the workbench on our site as it has a lot of what's coming out in 54mm listed on it with photos of the sculpts.

Also, just put on there the other day is our first 90mm sculpt, Saladin, if any of you collect in that scale.

Best,

Matt

Rather nice, I wonder how much that is going to cost? I notice that there are going to be limited numbers made.

I'm hoping "good." ;-)

We're redoing the bases on the cuirassiers to make them our standard rectangle and then sending them to production after the French Line Infantry. I think May/June or so is when they might be available. Production on our figures is unfortunately very slow.

Here is the mounted artillery officer, our first mounted release due out start of February to complement the 7 figure + gun french artillery set due out at the same time. The latter of these can be seen in the online catalog.

I have some additional photos that I need to put in our online gallery, including our Russian Hussars which aren't due out for an age, but are my favorite mounted figures we've done so far.

Very interesting. I know its been stated that they're a true 54mm scale, but I wonder how they would compare height-wise against K&C and Patriot? Maybe look okay mixed in amongst our existing Naps?

Cheers
H

According to their web site info on scale, I reckon that they should fit in alright between Britains and K&C, but I suppose that we will have to wait and see to get a figure comparison.

These are very good :) you have made an excellent start.

When do you think they will be available in the UK from TM Terrain?

For what it is worth, I think most of us would like the scenic bases...GO YANKEES..the once and future kings:DMichael

I like the scenic bases beter on the cavalry figures also! They look much better then the rectangle bases.
The cavalry figures look great! Whats a ball park figure on the price of a single cavalry figure?
