Even with this new lower VAT rate and the fact that the £ is doing crap against the $ at the moment, it still works out cheaper for me to actually buy my figures and have them shipped from the US.

Well my last order from the US was a far closer call to UK costs than it was six months ago

I know what you mean, it used to work out you could more or less get x2 figures from the US for the price of one from the UK, but now it is only a saving of a couple of quid.

Gone are the days for me of ordering 1 or 2 figures regularly, I am going to have save my funds to take advantage of the free shipping on orders over $250.00 and get 10+ figures once or twice a year. Doing this helps keep the costs down abit.

On 1st Dec Duty (14%) was cut on many items below GBP 100 so I need to do my sums again to work out best option.
