I just saw that Paragon is going to do some plastic 54mm US Cavalry and Apaches starting in mid 2010. See;
http://www.paragon-scenics.com/Home.html

The prototypes sure look nice. If the molding comes out nice then these will have some of the nicest Colt Model 1873 revolvers ever done.

I am glad to see that these will be size compatible with the TSSD cavalry troopers - eases cross-kitting and conversions. The Apaches look quite different from the plains tribes, but there might be some figure conversion possibilities there.

I hadn't seen this posted on this board and thought I'd pass it along.

I think they've been discussed on this board before, but not for a bit. Yes, indeed, they are very nice. It is always nice to see new plastic lines come out, particularly western.

I saw Paragon's product at the Westcoaster, and I came away really impressed. Paragon's figures match up perfectly in size to TSSD's too :). Here are a few pics from the show:

I believe the owner of Paragon's name is Gene, and I enjoyed meeting and talking to him as I looked over his excellent playset. Their figures are outstanding, as are their foam scenics. Well done Paragon:)!

I also handled these New Frontier Figures.
They are outstanding.
Converting them with the TSSD Figures will make the
mounted guys for Rio Grande and Yellow Ribbon.
"Fort Apache, End of the Rainbow."

I too think they look great. I have one concern: that a couple of the poses look like the head may be too small or out of proportion to the body. I see the same thing in the Cunnyngham confederate loading his rifle. Thoughts?
