Hi, I'm fairly new to collecting and looking forward to gaining some knowledge off of here. I'm mostly into German WW2 stuff so any pointers would be most appreciated

Hi and welcome! Your primary area of interest is covered very well in the hobby, probably better than any other era. So you'll have lots of choices including King & Country, John Jenkins Designs, and Thomas Gunn among others. When it comes to German WW2 armor I think you should take a look at War Park if you haven't already. They've been making some really wonderful stuff, and their figures are well done too. Welcome mate you've come to the right place for fun and games regarding WW2......

My suggestion is head north and explore the Matt Manufacturing Threads at the top of the page and don't hesitate to ask questions.

King and Country have been discounting some of their WW2 stuff so you could start with them?
