NFL 2015 Season (2 Viewers)

Combat!

You sir are absolutely correct fine sir...It was The The New England "Whitey Bulger Bus Service" Patriots driven by Tom "BUS DRIVIN" Brady who threw the poor ole ball boys (probably earning minimum wage) unda da' bus. Yup. The Billion Dollar Franchise and the Mulit-Million Dollar Arm threw two hard working kids into "Deflate Gate" history.

Your right Combat, and it reminds me of the Welch-McCarthy exchange on 9 June 1954 during the McCarthy Hearings. Whereby Mr. Welch (who is just exasperated) tells McCarthy the following:

Let us not assassinate this lad further, Senator. You have done enough. Have you no sense of decency sir, at long last? Have you left no sense of decency?

And THATS how I viewed Deflate Gate, because NOBODY stepped up and defended the ball boys when everybody knows that Brady cheated! The Patriots, Pretty Boy Brady and those who supported/concealed it got over. Plain and simple. What a shame and what a sham of a guy. All he had to do at that press conference was say "I like my balls squishy and I'm sorry". That's it and he would of been forgiven. But nooooooo, and he now joins the ranks of the "Sports Cheaters Hall of Fame".

So, I am going to the West Side and visit the local curandera and have her light a candle for the Pats...the evil kind. Yeah that's right I'm going voodoo on this game. But, I still love Mike Miller even though he going for the "Cheater come out" Pats.

As a Raiders Fan I have to cheer on New England. Despite the infamous "tuck rule". Now talk about conspiracies :)

The Raiders of the 70's and this edition of the Patriots are the only two AFC teams to go to five strait AFCCG's, where they went 1-4, hoping the Patriots go 3-2.

FIVE strait.

Yeah, we had some good teams. The Snake, Jim Plunkett (ultimate comeback kid), Rich Gannon, Marcus Allen. I think we are starting to turn the corner. We have good offense. Missing a few more pieces. Go New England!

No one refers to the 1985 Patriots team (as far as I know) but Steve Grogan, the Kansas QB, was a hell of a player. He was a favorite of mine at the time. Unfortunately, they had the misfortune to run into the Bears.

Grogan turned the whole team around when he arrived in 1976, they went 11-3, he was a double threat, could beat you with his arm as well as his legs. By 1985, his legs were shot, Tony Eason took over and led them to the Super Bowl.

They were up 3-0 in that game, then proceeded to get outscored 46-7 the rest of the way, what a massacre.

That team is fondly remembered around here, the first Patriots team to make it to a Super Bowl.

It's good they're not forgotten. Didn't Grogan come into the game at some point?

I still remember the Patriots when Babe Parlilli was the Qb and Jim Nance the Fb. I liked those guys and those teams. Parilli had a winning record as the Patriots Qb. Threw 31 Td's for them in '64. -- Al

They were getting plastered 24-3 or something close to it at halftime and Eason was shellshocked, so Grogan came into the game and got his brains beat in, it was sad to see actually.

Remember "The Super Bowl Schuffle" song by the Bears? Some local tv personality came up with a Patriots song as well; it was the most pathetic song you've ever heard, "New England, the Patriot and We" was the name of it.

I was embarassed as a fan to hear it...............just God awful.

I knew once I heard it they were going to get destroyed.

Al, you know your NFL history better than anyone here; remember when poor Joe Kapp was the QB for the Patriots at the tail end of his career? He got killed here, the offensive line was five turnstyles on that team, he's lucky to have survived the season.

As bad as those mid 60's to mid 70's Patriots teams were, their uniforms were great, the red jerseys with the white helmet and the Pat Patriot logo; the flying elvis logo on their helmets now looks awful, would love to see them go back to the old helmet, keep the blue jersey but go with white pants, that would look great IMO.

George, I remember Kapp. He only played 4 years. I think his heart was broken when he went from Qb on the '69 Vikings SB team to Qb for a bad Patriots team. You are right, he got killed and pulled the pin after the '70 season, at age 32.
The Patriots belong in their old red jerseys and white helmet. Always liked that uni. -- Al

Now we're talking fun football!!! time to break out the magic chalk board (Finnius J.Whoopie plug from Sherman cartoon^&grin) one of my most memorable games came in 1977 in the last game of the season when the Colts needed the Dolphins to lose in the early game and then beat the Steve Grogan led Patriots to win the AFC East, Colts were losing 24-3 at the half but Bert Jones and the Colts sack pack came alive in the 2nd half and came back to win 34-27!!!! and win the division!!! I still remember on the game winning score jumping out of my chair so high I broke the ceiling light bulb in my room!!...Sammy

Ah yes, back when a Colt was a BALTIMORE COLT and was a proud name in the NFL. A curse on Irsay. -- Al

I see like the Yankees haters there's the Patriot haters
It's hard to be a winner
Poor bunch of loosers

So...tell me what it's like to have a team that wins so much that everyone hates them...I've never experienced anything like it:

Go 'Vikes
Go Brew Crew
Go NU Wildcats

You get the picture...

Yup, the Patriots hate is off the charts, specifically towards Brady. Why? Because he's good looking and married a super model; gee, what a crime against humanity.

Oh, and he's good too, probably the greatest QB of all time; a sixth round draft pick no less that barely and I mean BARELY made the team his rookie season, he worked his *** off and still does to be what he is today. He's hungry for more championships, his team mates love him, does a ton of charity work around here, never says no to anyone who asks him for an autograph, never been arrested, never did any drugs, a role model to kids.

His salary compared to other QB's is pretty low; he makes less so the team can spend more on the players around him, he doesn't sniff around for the last buck, he's happy with what he makes, never whines about his salary.

Ever see his combine video; a skinny, goofy looking white guy. Check out when he runs the 40; looks like he's got a piano on his back. Very humble, never takes any credit for wins, always takes the blame for losses.

So let's all hate on the guy.

If they get to and win another Super Bowl, it will be his fifth ring, most all time for a QB, four for the fingers, one for the thumb.

Living well is always the best revenge.

Haters gonna hate.
