Battle Scene Productions was commissioned to create all of the battle scenes for the newly instituted NJ WWII Museum. Here is the first in production representing North Africa. There is more detail yet to be added and we will place all of the figures and AFV's when we install it. They wanted the scenes built as if they were a chunk of earth ripped away from the ground. The buildings in the rear are another project

More room will be available in the future as buildings on the grounds of Camp Evans ( The Museums location ) are restored. There will be some huge scenes done then. We are so proud to have been chosen for this project.. Alex

Thanks for your kind words.....

The first two scenes are North Africa and Wake Island which are somewhat uneventful. The next 3 will be D-Day, The Bulge and Ahrnem. The bulge will occupy a space of 12' X 3'.

Once things get going ( This wil take many years ) each Theater of Operations will have its own room. The complex is huge. They have 60 real WWII vehicles scheduled to be referbed.
They have an extensive War Electronics Museum and a Shipwreck Museum.

We will have updates on our website, we have some info there already. Alex

Thanks Men

Here is a quick shot we took of the Wake Island display as we were installing it. You can't see much of the detail in this shot.

It is totally hand made, from the sandbags and structures to the Palm Trees Alex

Are you still going to make and sell custom work and attend shows or will the museum be a full time thing? Keith

The displays you state as extensive are actually quite small. And where may I ask did you hear they had 60 WW2 vehicles ?

The displays will mostly be 6' by 2' for now, except for one which one will be 12' by 3'. When more space becomes available there will be entire rooms for each theater. There will hopefully be several that will be 4' by 8'.

I did not hear about the vehicles I saw them, a few are totally referbed and they are debating whether to restore the rest, because it may ruin their historic value.

It is all a matter of funding also. Buildings in the complex have to be brought up to standard before they can be occupied.

To answer a previous question. We are still doing work for private collectiors, we will be at Hackensack and Valley Forge, with buildings and accessories. We are doing repaints and repairs. We ae still doing THE GREAT CRUSADE, but the Episodes will be shorter and dedicated to more specific topics, also there will be about 10 months in between Episodes.

We are NOT doing any dioramas for Figarti for Chicago this year.

And we are doing stuff for fun, which you always see here and on various Forums. Alex

Thanks Frank.

We were just contacted yesterday to begin the next project, which will be the Bulge and will measure 13' by 3'. We will depict Bastogne, a river, bridge and a forrest area.

We will try to film the process. Alex

Hey firebat its mark. Where is this museum located? Also if at all possible we would be glad to volunteer some of our time and help out with some of this project. I can send you a few pics of some scenes we already put together. I'm pretty sure you would be happy with our work. We don't do the kid stuff with 1 tank, a few soldiers, and a cute picture behind them. We go all out. Please let us know. It would be nice to say we were a small part of great project.
