Amazing how much you can do with so little! Your backdrop blends so nicely into your mat. Excellent, as usual.

Thanks Mark! 2 of the dead figures are Fubars Black Cat figures I painted from his kits and the 3rd figure lying dead holding the musket Is a figure I scratch built with 2 part putty. The head is a BlackCat head and the hands and musket are Conte plastic I think? And the rest I scratch built.
Thanks again!

i wish i could scratchbuild stuff like that.it would be nice to have my own toy soldier company, but i doubt it'll happen.

I,m no sculptor and after trying my hand at it I have great respect for the guys who do this stuff! I like to tinker around a bit with a few part here and there, I,m more of a figure converter. The figures in the NO MERCY PT2 thread are Conte WWII G.I. I converted into Prussian Landwher figures with a lot of 2 part putty. I can sculpt enough to transform a figure but when it comes to really detailed stuff like faces that gets tuff! Most of what I do is stuff I can,t steal from other figures to get the pose or figure I want.
I,ll sometimes mess around though and do stuff for fun.

Here are a couple of examples of scratch built figure pieces! This was built because I wanted a kneeling to repel figure but didn,t have one, boy I wish I knew Harold was going to release these in plastic, what a time I had cutting this guy in half!:p

Here is one I tried awhile back at 100% scratch built. It was really rushed and I kinda built the whole think at once instead of in sessions, I think it looks like one of those 28mm figures!

I mostly just make small pieces and parts to get poses that are a bit different or parts I can,t find!
