Rob, you know it's only 5 days left in the month of August and you have not mentioned any new dispatches for September?? are you sick? :)...I guess for ol time sake I'll get a jump on ya!! being September I think K&C would have some new releases for Chicago perhaps, maybe some sneak peeks at Battle of Bulge sets, maybe a nebelwerfer set/ German mortar team possibly?? any thoughts...Sammy

Hey Sammy,

I think some folk get a little upset if I post the thread too early, so out of respect to them I now leave it until about three days before, but hey now you mention it;)

Maybe some Bulge releases, perhaps something for the 8th Army may arrive;).

I wouldn't be surprised if other ranges come to the fore as WW2 has had some stunning releases of late.

Now that I think about it, K&C haven't done a Mark IV, that's a tank I think would sell very well, I know C.S. is doing one, but wonder if Andy and co. plan on doing one at some point?...Sammy

As the releases will be for October I would expect some Battle of the Bulge but, would not be surprised to see only a few WWII but, its the bread and butter for the hobby.

I am glad we are talking about new releases as its what its all about was going to raise it myself but, did not want some spilling their afternoon tea!!!!!

Always good to talk new releases about any manufacturer, not just K&C, but I always look forward to those words...""Dispatches up"...." my drug of choice...Soldiers man!!!

For the Bulge range what I'd like to see most of all is a whitewashed King Tiger, but as I have so much I want to buy as it is I'd better not wish too hard!;)

Rob

For September I'm going to put my money on 8th Army being the main release, with one smaller release of a non-WW2 series. Just a hunch.

Yes 8th army all the way! Thats my bet anyway, hopfully monty's HQ caravans & some troops stood around waiting for orders? Maybe a desert sherman? Or a desert camo plane?

Craig

And perhaps some armour for Monty's boys too;)

Rob

I,m all for more RAF......but lets look at something a little different from WW2 German ......how about a few Egyptian pieces ...not alot but some to keep the series moving .....maybe some Ancients to start with.....:D

Yeah, been a lot of really nice releases for you guys and I've enjoyed looking at the pix... but not quite my scene, although I do have a few EA pieces.

Hopefully the USN and SOHK series will see some additions soon. Hasn't been much to tempt me to open my wallet (on K&C) for a while and I must admit, I am starting to drift towards other hobby interests.

Still hoping for more British Horse to charge alongside the Scott's Greys. A foot artillery battery would be also be most welcomed.

The Hellcat Tank Destroyer was such a desireable piece...how about one in some winter camo. Bastogne was one of the most crucial battles in the Bulge..a winter Hellcat would fit in perfectly. ......All right..I am a bit prejudice in that my uncle was a gunner in the 705th btn and helped the 101st defend the city during the siege..And, he is still alive to fill in the blanks for me. He would look real proudly popping his head out an opening (in miniatue....that is.)

paulzhere....
Sounds like you will have grown up with some amazing stories nothing better than having first hand accounts in the family. I think a new Hellcat would be a great idea.
