Here are a couple of non Trophy sets

24th FOOT HELIOGRAPH SIGNALLERS

I believe this set was made by WESSEX in 1990.

Not sure of the maker of this set which is obviously based on “Saving the Queens Colours at the Battle of Isandhlwana by Alphonse de Neuville?”

GICOP,
Does this Melville looks like yours? I'll have to check on the maker. In the course of human events, I too have forgotten the manufacturer:p Mike

Looks like Kingcast to me. There is a picture in the MKL catalogue from about 1999 and it looks similar

Here's the photo from the MKL Catalogue.......The Lt.

Hi Guys,

I think its King Cast too looks too much like the ones in the MKL cateloge not to be.

All the best

Dave

What about the single large base with both Melville and Coghil on it.?
In the catalog.

Thanks for all the replies, looks like Kingcast to me know:) only the picture shown has the horses on a large base

and Mike, I think our figures have swopped horses;)

Cheers

Martyn

I have checked on the base and it has a faint KC. Kansas City or King Cast?
I also have a RA set of "Saving the Guns" that appears to be from the same maker that I will post soon. Mike

Mike on the KINGCAST sets I have ZV and the number of the set appears on the bases of the sets. The ZV7 which appears on the photo I posted would have appeared on the Base of the mounted figures. I don't believe yours are by KINGCAST.........Joe

Oh contraire, mon frere! I found the boxes and it is from set KLE-1. Maybe several different sets, or Kingcast timeframes? Mike
