Absolutely wonderful pictures! What camera and lens combination do you use? What f-stop can you achieve to get the great depth of field?

Thank you.

Nikon D800
Nikon 24-70 mm (usually use the 30-40 mm range for miniatures)
Aperture f/22
Indirect light - two artificial lights pointed at white ceiling plus a little from window
White balance - measured with Whibal grey card.
Exposure - 6 seconds

Images desaturated and brightened in post

Choose an import element part way into the scene to focus on to maximize the depth of field.

Thanks very much. I hope my Afrika Korps photos will come close to yours in quality!:salute::

Great pic's and scene Frank and that is one mean and detailed looking Tiger! I so would love to have one of those HB Tigers! Oh well, I'll just wait until FL brings out there's..

Tom

That camo is the best I have seen, really makes the Tiger look mean. Would be very happy to have this one. Robin.

Robin I think that is a HB Gold Tiger in the photo (LONG GONE no longer available).... It's a very nice camo version indeed.:salute::...The more recent Figarti versions would also work well for a scene like this and you might have a good chance of still finding one. Best Frank

Beautiful images! That Tiger and those figures are top notch made only better with your splendid photography. Well done.

Thanks a lot guys. It's nice to pull out the HB models again. They go so well with the FL figures.

Frank

A lot of the Figarti Tigers are available on Ebay. The best price I have seen recently was $229.00 for a Steel Wheel 222.
