Simple diorama but with excellent :D results.
Can't tell where the backdrop ends and the ground work begins. The trees work well with background.
Plus it makes you want to see what the Germans are looking at??

The scene and photo are very realistic. The colors on the Panther G are excellent. How do you like the Panther?

Hi Katana, I really like this CS Panther Tank. Excellent flat paint tones, proper colors, Opening Hatches, Removable Side skirts, Turret mounted MG34 (left off).
This tank looks different from the company stock photos....For the better! Can you spot what is different between the two pics ?

The colors are more accurate IMO. I think I also detect some subtle weathering. Looks Great!

Hasn't the TCS Panther a lot of in ac curacies ??

Four errors were addressed when it was first released. No gun clamp. No rain shied over the drivers periscope. Head lamp on the wrong side and the glacis plate was at the wrong angle.
The first three issues are minor and easily corrected. The glacis plate was not as far off from the correct 37 degrees as originally thought at the time. One post said it was at 55 degrees; but that comment was corrected to about an angle of 42 degrees as I recall.

A further problem if anyone cares anymore, is that it is overscale; but IMO it works better with the 65+mm figures. I think it looks really good in the diorama.

Excellent scene PA, the backdrop is almost faultless to the foreground and the Panther looks great along with the glider, the other items and the terrain etc.

Hi Tom, Yeah....Great way to put this Glider into use, In a Diorama scene as I am sure was the original intention by Collectors Showcase ! This Normandy Panther looks quite good.
Not sure about the previous comments about the proper slope of the frontal armor, but all in all nice Tank.....IMO

Hi Larry, Yes....This back drop is one of my all time favorites. That being said, I need a few more !

Wayne; check landscape posters on Amazon. Many great low cost backdrops. You have seen one of mine 16 X 20 inches that I purchased for $8.00 USD.

Great diorama Wayne. I love the new TCS Panther, I'm aware of the inaccuracies however they're not important. What's more important to me is that The Collectors Showcase is one of the few Toy Soldier companies that has continued to add new, and repainted, models to their terrific Normandy range. I've had a long term interest in the vehicles, weapons and uniforms of the Waffen SS and it's great that TCS continues to produce these items whilst other companies seem to have cut back production due to political correctness, or whatever other reason(s)

I agree and I think Brian makes some of the best figures; both US Airborne and Waffen SS. The poses are very dynamic and realistic IMO. Only TCS and First Legion make WW II figures and armor that are size compatable, whatever the actual scale is! K&C is starting to emulate TCS with the Fury Easy 8 and the US Tanker figures that are in the same scale. TG now needs to upscale their armor to match their figures too.

TGM have issued some good Waffen camo poses in the past but seem to have cut back lately and agree they need to match their figure size to their vehicles. My guess is they'll reduce the size of their WWII figures rather than increase the size of their vehicles. I do like the First Legion Waffen SS and Airborne sets but they haven't issued much in the non-combat poses that I prefer, and of course they're a bit small for the vehicles I have.

I agree that TG may shrink their WWII figures as they are doing with their Napoleonics. The TG armor works very well with 60mm figures. The Hetzer is their best armor to date IMO. I wish they would do some heavy armor!

I use the 21st Century Cold Steel King Tiger, Panzer IV and Stug IV with my 60mm WB Fallschirmjager. All are way over scale for 1/32 as a result of die modifications to utilize diecast metal parts, to more effectivly compete against FOV. I have posted photos of these models with the WB figures and they would also be size compatable with FL. The FOV Jagdtiger and M26 are also oversize and are virtually 1/30 scale. I posted photos of both with 60mm actual size figures.

Matt, Being the Panther had several variations made during actual production, I would think this CS Panther is in the ball park.
