Hi Guys,

Among the many things I want to do for our new ‘CATTLE DRIVE’ series is design and produce some buildings to go along with all those cows and cowboys…

Towns that sprang up like ‘Tombstore’, ‘Dodge’ and ‘Abilene’ all over the West and played a major role in the stories and films about this period and the people who populated this period have always fascinated and intrigued me.

And so, in my spare time, I’ve started building my own little Western town. So far I’ve completed this ‘Saloon’ and almost finished three more…

A U.S. Marshal’s office and jail… a Livery Stable… and some kind of a small store.

On my ‘To Do’ list are… a Hardware Store… an ‘Undertakers cum Dentist’… A ‘Gunsmith’ and a Barber’s Shop.

Anyway that should keep me busy for a week or two and out of mischief!

All the best and have a great weekend…
Andy

Very exciting. Look forward to seeing the town grow.

You need to put a "Lady of the Evening"at the top of the stairs leaning over the railing in her "nightgown"inviting people up.^&grin

Mark.....I'll take it a step further and ask Andy to create a brothel. Shady I know, but these ladies working in the oldest profession in the world would demand it. ^&grin

Yes very Very cool man.🤠👍👍👍👍 I have always been a fan of the Wild West Comic and of course the movies.
Andy one thing should not be missed in a Wild West village and that is the Bank. That can be robbed.
But as far I love it already.
I'm also very curious what the Trail Drive series will look like in the future.

Harry 🤠👍

Nice one Andy !:salute::

Seeing the year you've chosen there, it reminded me of a TV series from years ago called "Centennial" based on a book By James A Michener.
Quite good back in the day I seem to remember.

Well you are off to a good start with this one Andy. Nice to see you are also enjoying the fruits of your labour. No doubt this little town will inspire you to produce the figures to populate it, so a win for the collectors. On that front, can you build faster{sm4} , Robin.

Andy, remember to unleash new mounted figures of the J. Ford cavalry in combat poses against the indians.

Western buildings.....................nice, can be used for many things..................like Newton Station for an ACW diorama, Union dismounted cavalry defending the town from Confederates piling off of a train................"The Horse Soldiers"...............well done Andy, looking forward to seeing the town grow.

Thankyou George…I’m going to take you up on that great suggestion early next week…Although it might be some Texas Cavalry paying the town a little visit…
All the best,
Andy.
