Dear All

Before we get into this months new releases a question on a potential new range or 2 for next year! Out of the 8 possibles which would you like to see most?

A. Russian late war series to encompass the fall of Berlin.

B. Pacific war featuring Japanese armour with troops and some Commonwealth boys thrown in for good measure.

C. French Foreign Legion series around the late 1800's Beau Geste period.

D. 7 Years war (FIW) North America

E. The Ancient World

F. Modern American/British Army

G. Zulu War - in the same scale as Britain's but done in TG style.

H. Something else.

Just drop me an email with your preferred choice but please pick only 1, in order that we can hopefully get it right! If you put something else, it would be helpful if you told us what the something else should be!

New Releases as follows and all available next week: As promised some new troops in the form of American Paras, lets hope you like these as we have a lot more designs on hold waiting to be released providing you take to these first new sets:

ATW001A 60mm Mortar Team - Featuring our first American Airborne troops from the 82nd Airborne Division (The All Americans), taking their 60mm mortar into action against the enemy! The loader and aimer both look away as another round leaves the chamber, these 2 were in such a rush to get into action the loader is still wearing his drop gloves!
Comes with 2 figures, mortar and mortar ammo box this has to be a first for 1/30th scale!
Planned production run is limited to 180 sets in this version.
The B version crew are sporting Mohican hair cuts with war paint and wear the unit colours of the 101st Airborne, this version limited to 120 sets and is titled 'Last of the Mohicans'. Both versions priced at $69 each and probably not around for long so grab them whilst you can.

As correctly guessed by some Treefrog forum members 'ATW' stands for 'All the Way' and is the motto of the 82nd Airborne division, hence the name for this new series. A special thank you to Lt Col Paul Narowski for all his help with this first release.

SS021A Infantry Section - Comprising 2 SS soldiers in winter gear, the officer takes aim with his MP40 whilst the other foot slogger hurriedly reloads his rifle.
Limited to 200 sets in this version.
The B version figures come in a popular Spring 1945 colour scheme and is limited to 100 sets worldwide, both versions priced at $64 each.

SS027A ZB30 MG set - Another first in 1/30th scale so far as I am aware! 2 SS infantry men manning their Czech ZB30 machine gun, the gunner takes careful aim whilst the number 2 waits with a fresh magazine. Comes with 2 figures both dressed in typical uniform for the winter period, with one man carrying a bag containing fresh magazines and the other with a canvas bag containing spare MG parts. The ZB30 was made in Czechoslovakia and was popular with SS infantry and SS police units, especially when the MG34 was not readily available. It was still in use at the wars end which was a testament to its reliability and durable construction. Enfield made the British version of this machine gun which went onto worldwide fame as the Bren for those of you wondering about the similarity between the two guns!
Limited to 200 sets worldwide in this version.
The B version will suit any diorama for Western Europe from Spring thru to Autumn and is limited to 100 sets worldwide, both versions priced at a competitive $69.

GEB001 Sniper - Our first of hopefully many Gebirgsjager troops! This SS mountain trooper takes aim at an unfortunate Allied soldier, sometime during the Battle of the Bulge Campaign in late 1944.
Limited to 200 sets in this version and priced at $32.

GC009 Gebirgsjager Sniper - Our latest Gunn Club figure featuring an SS mountain trooper dressed as he would have appeared in spring 1945, limited to 100 sets worldwide. This model is available in limited numbers thru dealers and also thru Thomas Gunn and can be ordered thru our website or by simply dropping us an email, once again its at a great price of $32.

I have been told that SS011 and SS012 replacement Cavalry figures will be here in 3 weeks, contact your dealer or us if you are still after any of these fantastic figures.

So that's it for now folks, watch out for Decembers news when our Napoleonic's and WW1 figures make their debut at the London show.

Kind Regards

Thomas Gunn

Great releases Tom,
Love the paras and the gebirgs sniper( will send you an e-mail with my order)
guy:)

ATW...It was the Paras as many guesssed. I got on my knees and begged Tom to do them.....I hope they are very successful, as Tom has many great ideas for future releases. This is my personal favorite subject matter, so for those of you who also are US Airborne fans, relay your ideas for future releases. Alex

Good to see American paras hit the main stage. I have backed away from WWII as of late but these paras will reel me right back in.

It's good to see that someone -- finally -- is doing American paras. There are a lot of collectors who never got a chance to collect the K & C ones so I think TG is filling a need. Here's hoping for more.

Having had a chance to now have a good look at the first batch of US para's I have to say, that I think the uniforms and colourway looks very good and the detail is very good. Personally, I like the helmeted guys better than the last of the mohicans set but, thats just I think that hairstyle was weird

I would think they will be the first of some interesting allied releases.
Mitch

Like the releases a lot, especially the paras and the spring, prone LMGers. Really am excited about the WW1 line. -- Al

They are Arnhem paras !!!! 1st aid kit on the helmet !!! ( not worn like that in Normandy !!!)
guy:)

GREAT WORK TGM!!!

My vote, not surprising to many on this forum

MODERN AMERICAN/BRITISH

I am particularly fond of the M2 Bradley as I need those boys to round out my Mechanized column. {sm3}{sm4}

Great job guys!!

They are Arnhem paras !!!! 1st aid kit on the helmet !!! ( not worn like that in Normandy !!!)
guy:)

You can find pictures on the web with American Airborne wearing their medical kits on their helmets at Normandy. I have to check but i believe the jacket and trousers were different from Normandy to Market Garden. I even think a different boot was issued. Ill have to check but i thought american paras were wearing the m 43 by the time market garden came rolling around.

Absolutely superb releases!!!!! Can't wait to get the sniper (or both) and the airborne mortar team.

Maybe the helmets are removable. Now, that would be nice, as long as they fit well over the mohawk.
