Certainly didn't look like it what a flogging good to see the South Africans getting back a bit of what they have been dishing out,bring on test #2.....................^&grin

Australia win by 281 runs and they have continued on with what they did to England recently by making a quality South Africa this time looking like a messy cricket side,Australia win by 281 runs Johnson took his 12 wickets but remember how good Marsh was with his first innings ton.
But i reckon SA will fight back.

Yes an amazing effort! The selection of both Marsh and Doolan was strongly criticised based on their fairly ordinary Sheild records, yet they scored 300 runs between them! I read someone saying that Johnson was even better then he was in the Ashes and that seems to be the case too. Extraordinary!

We win that's what happens but what a great series i don't understand why we never play SA in 5 test matches that would of been awesome,
and a big well done to Graham Smith he left a champion of the game.
