Hi Guys,

Here’s another look at Gordon’s little ‘Jungle Track’ dio... This time with some of our upcoming NVA & VC in position.

Have a great weekend!

All the best and happy collecting,
Andy

Excellent dio as one has been accustomed to expect from Gordon. Good to have an opposing force in this series. Robin.

Great to see some Vietnamese troops, especially the VC in 'Black Pyjamas' ….

Hope that some civilians will also be made as they will form the basis for many a diorama both rural and urban.

Well done with this range,

John

They look great and the running flag bearer reminds me of a famous photo from Hue at the time.

Yes, yes, definitely will need some villagers, squatting, cooking, Nursing a baby, kids, women sowing rice, perhaps even an old man ploughing a paddy with a Water Buffalo and some for the city, riding a bike, market sellers. I remember seeing a photo of a guy riding one of those trishaw with three pigs in front being taken to market.

Again, it is so great to see this line expand so quickly. From the US Marines to the Aussies on patrol to the NVA/Viet Cong, K&C has once again started and nourished a line within their product that is captivating and full of possibilities.

At the risk of sounding greedy, I can't wait for more!

Could only find a small photo that you didn't need to pay for of the event, but it may spark the memory.

Many thanks Guys for your very positive reception to these upcoming 'Vietnam' figures and all our existing ones!
We do indeed have plans and designs already prepared for Vietnamese civilians and other items...Who knows where this all might lead..?
It's certainly a refreshing change from WW2...at least for a little while.

And yes Steve, that photo you posted was the inspiration for the running NVA flag bearer.
Best wishes to one and all...and happy collecting,
Andy.

Hi Andy

So it's only what I had to eat the day before yesterday I can't remember ! ^&grin

Soon as it comes available I'll be getting him and the rest of the NVA / VC for sure.

I'd love to see a diorama of that photo, but it looks a bit too intricate and time consuming.

Wait till the 'Chicago Show' in September, Steve!
Andy.

Nothing like starting a day with such a wonderful sight! The NVA and VC opposition looks amazing!

Funny that we find seeing the NVA or Vietcong as a wonderful sight :p

I agree though, super stoked about this!

Robo!

The great thing about it is that we're having a good rate of releases and not just concentrating on one unit whether they be Allies or enemies of each other, but a good mix.
I think Andy intends to release ARVN into the range at some stage and who knows what else he might mix in !
.
The other thing you're thinking about just depends on the luck of the draw. as to when and where you're born !^&grin

Or if we chose to volunteer for it and survived getting knee deep in it,,no I wont be collecting NVA or Arvins,,1/1 scale was enough ,not a wonderful sight,,

Nicely done, but be careful,as the backblast from that RPG would put a world of hurt on the jungle color bearer(didn't see a lot of those "Kill me first"
gooks over there) and his soon to be mangled body wrap NVA ensign. That blast would affect those in a cone shape behind him to about a killing range of 10'.

I will buy a few to balance against the Marines.

I just wanted to clarify one issue with you! How do I view the attachment. It is not opening for some reason.

Hello Michael,
I think ... :rolleyes2: ... that it might be Browser related.
What browser are you using? (Bing, Google, Chrome, Edge ...?)

Check the setting is the browser to see if it allows the opening of Jpegs images, etc.

I use various browsers and they all work. But check the "Content Settings" to see what images are allowed or blocked.

Great décor, also usable for WW2, would like to see some marines or japanese move along the path
