Guys,
I turned FJ001(A) Normandy version into an Italian version.
I repainted the fallschirmjägers completely, jump suits, trousers and head gear, also the gun got a repaint.
The scene depicts a light gun and crew overlooking and watching the valley at Montefredane/Italy in september 1943, shortly after the Salerno landings. The men belong to the 3th batt of the 1st Fallschirmjäger Div.

Hey Guy do you take the figures off there stands???If yes how with out damaging them,i reckon the only figures that should have stands are marching/standing figures most prone, kneeling, squatting etc dont need them and like you say no stands visible make the DIO look so much better, but just MO...............^&grin

I did not remove the stands in this dio.The stands are covered with the same material I used to do the ground works ( universal filler) In "attack on Britain's toughest" I removed the stands from the 2 Germans and the British para sentry standing near the water. When I remove the stand I use a very fine hobby saw( iron) or a Dremel.
