Since Rob, due to his vision problems, can't start this thread, I will do it for him :)

So what do you think we will see in October, perhaps some of what was in Chicago. Possibly, but the sub that was shown last year did not make its appearance for many months. Wonder if any of them will be limited editions.

I was going to do this but, as its been done. The sub was always going to be an SL so, had to fit into the release schedule for that, would not be surprised if we get the Tiger 1 or, the Flak 41 (though that is the one I favour) for October releases.

Would like to see some medieval, possibly, some SOE additions as I love that range and the possibilities of where it could go and, other ranges get some airtime and, WWII has been blessed lately so, let others have their releases. Could we also recieve the notification of the last SL of the year?? Would not put money against it.

I would like more american Battle of the Bulge as I love them!:D

But I think some german Battle of the Bulge sets will be out!:D:cool:

PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not more German WW2.......have some imagination.......:D:D

I'd say we would have to see the release of the latest WW1 Australian Lighthorse and the defending Turkish Infantry and Krupp gun with gunners. Thats been paraded around the East Coast of Australia in June this year, and beenf eatured at Chicago, so its time for them to put onto the market.

That will make a change from WW2 Germans !!! :(

And its more Artillery :)

Agreed! Enough WW2... how about more emphasis on earlier periods this time? Unlikely I guess if the pics from the Chicago show are anything to go by, with the exception of the Light Horse and Johnny Turk figures. Am I correct in assuming that most of the next batch of new / upcoming releases are given a preview there?

But really Andy, some SOHK, USN and SOE are LONG overdue. Been very neglected this year compared to other areas.

I would venture a guess that some germans will slip into the dispatches

That would be a good trivia bit of research to see if there's ever been a dispatch without 1 German item!

Ok so.......german tiger....tank riders....set with dead american....flak gun!:D:cool:

I would think we may get the Tiger 1 winter as the final SL of the year
Mitch

Can't wait for that winter Tiger. Really like the color scheme. KC has me committed now. First the Marseille 109 (my first desert piece) and now the winter Tiger, which will be my first winter piece. I am now a man for all seasons.:p:D -- Al

Hi Guys,
Just so that you know Friday 1 OCT is a public holiday in Hong Kong and an email I sent to K&C came back saying not back until 4 OCT.
I would guess this means no Despatches today as normally invloves web page updating etc to co-incide with the News.
1 OCT is the day Chairman Mao announced Peoples Republic of China (as shown in K&C) desk calender.
Regards
Brett
PS This thread quiet with what's his name not being around for a few weeks !!!

Still may come. However, have had several dispatches on the 4th of a month before so, won't be to much problem if it is

Sorry to say Germans SELL fast..........SOHK, USN and SOE sell slow. hence the introduction of the odd one and two and not as much as other periods.

Apologies if this has been mentioned before, but how about a one time deal on being able to purchase die-cut foam inners for early sets! If we were allowed to order, paying in advance for what we needed and K & C could organise a limited run (possibly once or twice a year) that way it works easier for them with no expense occurred and nothing sitting around blocking valuable storage space. Worth thinking about at least!

thanks for the news... I've been having a look at the site every so often at work, but now I have something to look forward to at work on Monday.
