Just wondering if anyone has purchased/received it yet and if so what are your thoughts ?

I am contemplating a purchase but it is a whole lot of pennies and out of my alamo/acw comfort zone .

Just recieved mine. I love the model. It is well detailed, colorful paint scheme, nice stowage. A blast to the past with open hatches and 3 crew. If I have a nitpick, it is that the crew seems on the smallish size, compared to other contempory K/C tankers...{sm4} Michael

Hi,

Well it's a Sherman a bit alterated...lol
It's a bit expensive but I believe it will sell very well, especially in the American market where it's an iconic piece.
I've the same problem of limited pennies...but I'm very tempted to get one....😊

Best regards,
Maccoy

Well upon hearing there was to be a bank facade released later this year I just had to bite the bullet and purchase my first tank ...... well my first military tank as I already spend 000's on the little blue guy and his friends . So peter as Oddball would say ...........fooorwarrrd and speed my package to the UK

hi guys.
Oddball's Sherman is driving in my KC collection. And what a Tank it is WOW!
larger than the old KC DD 45 from 2004 Sherman's but now well on scale 1:28!
Figures are also very nice and not too small in my opinion.
here some pictures you can see for yourself.

Wow...the size difference between the older Sherman is drastic. Is K&C planning on making all their AFV's larger now in order to scale with their larger sized figures?

The difference between the two Shermans is huge. But consider what is being compared. I'm pretty sure DD045 is one of the old 1:32 models so it is quite small and the gun barrel is a short 105mm gun, also at 1:32. The Oddball Sherman is probably 1:28 and the oversize gun is a movie fiction. A comparison of a recent 1:30 scale 76mm Sherman like DD179 would be much closer in size to the Oddball Sherman.

I think a few of the latest K&C AFVs may already be approaching 1:28.

If you compare this tank in size to the new K/C Easy 8, or CS newer shermans, it matches up pretty close. Next to my Humphrey Bogart's Lee tank, easily my new favorite tank. Michael

Terry agree but would be great if someone could measure it up don't you think ?

Could you post some photo please ?

If someone has one or two to measure. My newest Sherman is the Firefly from several years ago. And comparison pictures are useful only if someone has both taanks - the Oddball and the Easy 8.

I hope this tank comes with a piece of pipe so the crew can stick it on the end of the gun barrel so the kraut's think it's a 90mm gun.................:wink2:

This tank and his two others are being held in reserve in case the Germans mount a counteroffensive on Paris........or New York..................{sm2}{sm3}{sm4}

WRONG! The tank is being held in reserve to protect Hollywood and will be reinforced by "FURY" when it arrives ^&grin
