Wow
Those are worse or better depending on your perspective than e bay prices

If you're a seller, you're licking your lips. If you're a buyer, well, this is a clean forum ^&grin

Hi Brad

I'd like to see the rest please

Cheers

Martyn:)

Brad,
All "crazy" bids (with exception of the Staff car and a Traction steam engine) were from "the room". and you also forgot to mention that 23% plus s&h will be added to the hammer price. ^&grin
I was under bidder for a Boer war Steam engine and it was pretty much it for me :)

Yes, some prices were crazy like the Marmalukes, etc. I did expect a high figure on the staff car, although not this high.

I think Louis was interested in the Steam Engine although I don't know if he bid, or won.

My favorite purchase today was this K&C RMB set (pictured left) for $150 plus $34 premium ($184) I'm happy because I have been focusing on building mega sets. This RMB band will allow my existing RMB growth from an 8 figure band to 15 figure band. I also recently (not from this auction) purchased an additional LAH006 Band (pictured right) to double it's size from 11 to 21...if I can find more I will buy more and since the LAH006 is limited to 100 sets, this one will be more fun than most.

What is disappointing and has once again happened just as before with these auctions...is you win an auction, it tells you "you won this auction"...I make sure the auction is not re-opened as they do allow to happen...then the next auction comes up...then I go look in my "items won page" and it's not there! I understand the auction thing is likely going to have flaws but come on I was loving that purchase of DD21:(

I bid on both the Steam Engine and the Staff Car. Didn't win either. Not willing to pay crazy prices.

Brian,

Very easy. Go to Liveauctioneers.com and just register. That way you can search for all upcoming auctions that might be toy soldier-related, not just Old Toy Soldier auctions.

Many thanks Brad

Whoever bought the Boxer Mounted Standard Bearer got a King & Country glossy one instead {eek3}

How would the price compare Lawrence, would the K&C Boxer usually go for more than the Trophy one or vice versa.

Cheers

Martyn:)
