This is a must have for a collector like me and I will start saving my pennies ASAP. The Four Feathers line is a great addition to your store and I like the revised paint jobs for the older sets shown in the TF site photos .

Awesome!!!!

I love the gramaphone! Great to see I now have to find the cash for yet another item as if the 40 odd figures I want from the current Britains offerings werent enough to make me go broke!

A very charming set. Love the gramophone too.

Thanks, Raymond.:)

Love ti but at $500 plus it will be an unconsummated love........................

Hi Shannon,

I take it from Polarbear's comments on this set and images that this is a soon to be released set from Four Feathers. It does not however feature on the Four Feather pages on the Treefrog list of manufacturers yet so I was wondering if you know when this set will be released and if there are anymore in the pipeline as they tend to release new sets in batches as opposed to stand alone pieces.

Martin

Hi acw cavalry,
The news and info on this set just came in yesterday afternoon after Mandi our trusty webpage maker had already gone home for the day. I wanted to give you all a peek at this amazing set to whet your appetites as soon as I saw it. Full info and the webpage on Treefrog are to come today.
This is indeed the latest from Four Feathers and all pieces in the vehicle are removable so you could even change it up and have the husband and wife sitting on a bench near the car looking on at a scene of frantic unpacking as they begin their safari adventure.

Thank you for your interest!

That sounds even more interesting.

So we can have the lady and gentleman having tea and sandwiches with the gramaphone set up.

Any chance of some pictures with the car "unloaded" ie figures and luggage removed ?

Thanks, Raymond.:)

Hi Shannon,

I shall be looking forward to the pictures.

This set could make for a very nice "Out of Africa" vignette.

Thanks, Raymond.:)

The Four Feathers stuff is fantastic!:cool::cool::cool: I am going to have to get the Tiger Hunt set and the "White Hunter" set with the boat and the hippo for my son Alec.

Louis,
I agree, 2 sets on my list. I love this set too, just don't love the price, wow!

Tom

I just ordered "The Shikar" set, (the hunters on the elephant being attacked by the Tiger) as an Easter present for my son Alec.:)

Hi Louis,

You wont be disapointed its a very nice set.

Dave

Dave,

My son's elephant and tiger set arrived, and I was really impressed. It is very well done, as good in person as it is in the photos. My son loves it, and I expect I will get him some more Four Feather's sets in future.:)

Hi Louis,

Thats a great set for a kid to begin with! I plan to get the White Hunter set next. I will probably get the rickshaw ride set too since that can be used in my Durbar side display. Really looking forward to future sets from 4 Feathers! On a side note this happens to be the name of one of my absolute favorite movies. Really enjoyed seing it on TV about a week ago. The version from the 1930s not the redo by Heath Ledger.

Dave

Dave,

That's not a starter set for my son. Alec, at 4 years old, already has a Luzinzki Durbar Elephant, a Timpo Elephant/Tiger Hunt set from the 50's, and a Cartheginian War Elephant (he loves elephants and tigers).

Next he wants the Dangerous Hug set, followed by the White Hunter Set. I'm sure he'll end up getting both.:p;):)

Regards,

Louis

Hi Louis,

Those are some mighty fine sets!

I havent pushed my boy into the toy soldier collecting area yet but he has a ton of the plastic army guys he likes to play with and also a K&C Chinese Guard with a Dragon banner. He is also into the Star Wars stuff and has a ton of that so eventually he will be given some more metal sets but thats further down the road. He is probably going to get an Elefant TD since he is really hooked on that vehicle. We saw the one at Aberdeen Proving Ground and the TV Show on its restoration so he is very keen on having one to play with. Its really great when they show an interest in the things you are keen on isnt it.

Have a great day
