On the Road from Phu Bai to Hue (1 Viewer)

Very nice work. The roadbase is very convincing. Great composition and the photo works really well. Your VN series of dioramas has provided heaps of good viewing.

You have certainly embraced this series Steve. You are setting the path on how this is being rolled out and the many possibilities to showcase. Well done. Robin.

Thank you Bob and Robin. Yeah for sure I'm enjoying exploring the possibilities of this range, as I'm sure many others are doing and as you blokes in Oz have done and no doubt will continue to do in your shows / competitions which I think inspired me and I expect many others to have a go and see what you can come up with and who knows maybe some of mine will spark the imagination of others ! ^&grin

A few figures, a jeep and a road sign is all Steve needs to turn these items into a beautiful diorama

Thanks Guy. :salute::
Road sign was copied from a photo on internet and made using a lolly stick !

Awesome job bud!

I don't know much about the Vietnam War so I started watching Ken Burns Vietnam Documentary and it is absolutely brilliant!

Scott

I think any war that was happening and was going on for a such a long time that it seemed there was always something in the news about it when one was growing will be of interest, but perhaps that's just me !

It might seem like a small thing, but I love the use of the spare helmet and rifle!!!!!

Thanks. Sometimes when looking at peoples dioramas, it's the small things that make it memorable and stand out !

Steve:

That is so true. From the use of a sign to the angle of a tank/vehicle, the list of items that make a dio great is truly endless.
