With a new shoe on his horse, a new pile of wood for the blacksmith the officer moves his troops along.

AND the US ARMY is off to make HISTORY!!!

Morning Kirk .... Yea, exactly!
Now that you have traveled the highways and byways of Maine, you know that it really hasn't changed that much in 150 years!!! With many of Maine's roads needing a good "re-do", maybe traveling by horse isn't such a bad alternative.

Still a lot to learn, to get up to the level of many displays that are shown here daily but that is the .. FUN!

** I made the fences along the roads
** I made the table in the forge yard

** I made the wood box
** I made the stacked wood pile and base
** The road is made from Artist Gesso (stole from the wife ) troweled out on some old wood and Acrylic paint, sprinkled with dried tea

A big Thank you Mark. I hope to start making a lot more of my diorama items as I learn off this forum. But the JG items were hard to resist and my skills at making a building are not there yet, so .....
