Hi Guys,

A few days back we previewed our ‘Vietnam’ dio “WITH THE MARINES” that will be shown at our K&C Friday Night Event on 17 May.

Like many of our K&C dioramas it’s possible to alter and rearrange certain features to tell a different kind of story... And here’s one...

ONE NIGHT IN SOUTH VIETNAM’ shows a ‘search and destroy’ mission led by Australian troops near one of their staging areas around Nui Dat.

As you can see the Aussies are searching a local woodsman’s house and at the same time patrolling the nearby road.

They’ve had some contact with local V.C. and a few enemy dead are the result as well as a wounded prisoner.

All in all a successful mission... so far...

All the best and happy collecting,
Andy

Andy mate,
Absolutely outstanding cobber. Counting down the days until the last week of May when I receive my Troop of M113s. The collectors in Hong Kong at the Friday night event should be stoked by this fantastic Dio. Keep up the great work.

Cheers from the Land Down Under, Howard:salute::

Andy,

those M113's really look the part in this wonderful new diorama of our troops in Vietnam.

I'm sure that they will look even better when we see them arrive 'down under, this month,

well done,

John

Hi Steve,
The pigs you just about see in the dio are old Britain's plastic ones that I picked up years ago at the Chicago Show....Originally pink I repainted them as traditional black Vietnamese pot-bellied ones and placed them in the pen.
As for making our own K&C version down the line....Yes, I would like to produce them and other typical Vietnamese animals in the future.
All the best,
Andy.
