If you like the old stuff and without worrying about the cost, I'd say it's worth picking up. Of course, worth is a relative term.

If you want it buy it. It is a nice build I think I remember someone telling me they were made in Wales (if memory serves) paid £100 for mine new but, if you did not get it there are some really good ones out now and sure to be more in the near future

If you want the piece and can get away with getting it, well then yes. IMO if you're interested in the period, and want it to complete an idea or a diorama, then get it. If you change your mind, offer it for sale to your fellow collectors, one of whom may have been in your original position.
