I'm working on a page of pictures from my day at the show yesterday. It's a work in progress. http://playsetaddict.com/OTSN2011report.html

Thanks for the photos and the link!

I'm a little disappointed in the TSSD "barbarians". Three out of eight figures are left handed! That's a higher percent in a "tribe" than in my 4 person family. :wink2:

Their Romans on the other hand are FINALLY the series of plastic Romans I've been waiting for.

There size has put me of a little as its getting around thats these new TSSD sets are anywere from 60-68mm....but that needs to be fully confirmed ^&confuse
So that kinda rules out using the Italeri Gauls which would have been great to use fighting along side the barbs.
And it would look silly in having Romans tower over Gauls.......still i do like the sculpting on the Barbs they remind me of the glory days of Conte!

Here are a couple of pictures of one of my favorite purchases from the show.

Am I the only one who thinks this is just totally cool?

As always you have provided some terrific pix. You really enjoy this stuff don't you?

I agree Joe, Thats killer.
I certainly admire the terrain work do for all your displays.Just great. Thanks for all the images.
I didnt make the event this year, or even care, right up until last Friday afternoon, I had some minor toy soldier show withdrawls. I painted a couple oddball Prussian Casualty figures and a dead frog too. Felt better.
Got to make ONE show in 2012!

It was great to see you as well. I sure love the stuff you're creating for Barzso. I finally have my painted Indian village...now I just have to figure out what to do with it.

I really like this buffalo pose.

Thanks for the pics Frank. I enjoy the western figures and bought the SD cavalry and Apaches. I also got the Paragon sets but no Barzo this time. Guess I will have some painting time this winter. Also, I enjoy Barzo's buffalos and teepees John

I usually have the plastics thread compressed but tonight I decided to open it up . . . Glad I did. Great photos Joe . . . wish I would have seen you at the show . . . oh well, two ships passing in the night . . .

I really like the teepees from the Barzso Buffalo Hunt playset. Kudos to Jim Clouse and his wife for painting them. Someone had to be awfully busy getting enough done for the show.
I thought they were a great deal at 15 bucks a piece.

One of the nice things about getting new stuff is that it makes you dig out old stuff you had forgotten about. These four figures had been waiting for years for the Teepees to arrive.
