Fantastic! Absolutely looks real and would love more info on how you built it.

Just when you think that you have seen the "best of the best" on this forum, along comes another work of art that raises the bar once again.
Simply OUTSTANDING!! {sm4}

Like nysoldier, I would love to know more about your building techniques. For example, how the devil did you hide the bases so perfectly?

Wonderful, wonderful.

Thanks for the nice comments. Bases are "photoshopped". Quick and easy. Buildings are part of a railwayproject in the garden of my best friend. They are simply made from concrete and the oldest are surviving already for more than 20 years. The houses are copies of the homes of his family members and of his village (e.g. the church and the pub). It's a privilege to make use of this scenery to play with some local wargamers.

Here some other shots!

WOW! Simply amazing! To think that they are made of concrete and left out in the backyard for over 20 years... You mentioned that they are part of a railway project in the garden of your best friend, so I wonder if they originally were intended for a G scale project?

This is so neat. A permanent outside village. It seems all possible using the right construction materials that can with stand the elements. Really like that church. Appreciate you sharing, this may well go on the back burner when I run out of room inside. Robin.

You actually wargame with K & C figures? Certainly beats playing with 20mm Airfix plastics!

Hi Guys,

I’m sitting at Hong Kong airport in the Cathay Pacific lounge looking at Eddy’s (bricoleur) amazing outdoor diorama. This has got to be one of the most amazing displays I have ever seen. The scale of the houses and buildings are perfectly matched to our own scale or vice versa. I look forward to seeing many more photographs with other figures and vehicles in here. Congratulations on a fabulous piece of work. Very best wishes,

Andy and Gordon and everyone at K&C

Eddy mate,
Well I will be buttered on both sides.^&grin Only two words to describe these photos and dio "BLOODY OUTSTANDING". Would love to see more. I am with Robin and it would be great to have one in the back yard. This opens up a Pandora's box for new dio ideas.
Cheers Howard
