008.JPG009.JPG010.JPG PA 1 The Gold State Coach with Queen Victoria and the Prince Consort; PA 2-Walking Footmen in state livery and two sets of PA 3-The Royal Bodyguard of the Yeoman of the Guard. I have seen the coach with blue doors and one with red doors but not entirely gold like this set.

Wonderful set, Tommy. Just another great example of BB!
DC set of "Present arms" sailors will also go with this Pageantry range.
Do you have more sets to show in this range?
Al

Tommy,

Superb sets. I have never seen these before.

The Gold Stage Coach is awesome. I like the marching Grenadier Guards.

Is the backdrop by JG Miniatures ?

Thanks for sharing.

Raymond:)

Thanks Martyn, Al, Raymond and Lancer. The backdrop is from JG(5 sections) through Treefrog. Yes, I have more which I will post. I had never seen these before except the coach. I have a copy of a handwritten list of Len's from 1975 showing all of the traditional sets he produced before he started Zulu,Boxer, etc. Queen Elizabeth's last ride on Bermese(a gift from Canada) was in 1986.

Tommy,
I am looking forward seeing more sets. The Pageantry range pieces surface from time to time, but most often not as the boxed sets.. The mounted figures were also released in individual boxes.
It would be great if you could post Len's list here in the Forum so we all can see what was made.

Very nice Tommy. Had no idea there was a pageantry series. Were marching bands ever done?

Brad: I think both marching and mounted bands. I remember a large set including the coach for sale on The Old Toy Soldier Home website several years ago, asking $1850.

Beautiful figures, Martyn! It's amazing how many incredible toy soldiers Trophy produced over the years. I never saw the pagentry series until you posted these photos, and boy am I impressed!^&cool

Tommy,
I remember seeing that photo. The set included mounted brass band and escort figures. However I do not think they belong to the Pageantry series. I own both sets (a band and an escort) for two different regiments in blue and red uniforms. One set is unused and came in the large "castle" Trophy box w/o any Pageantry name on it. The band and escort sets were actually listed in early Trophy catalogs. Maybe they were "repacked" later...Does your sets come in the Trophy red boxes?
I will post pictures of mine when time permits :)
Al

Superb sets Tommy thank you for sharing them and I look forward to future posting of these little treasures.
