Especially the wire mesh skirts very nice. Strange to discard them and leave it as they did????

I got mine today and love it it is great piece with the l70 Lang panzerjager. They seem a little smaller than K&C, but the detail is amazing. I am still having trouble posting pictures and it is driving me up the wall.
 
I would buy it if it had skirts..How hard would it be to make our own? Maybe some modeling members will chime in..Michael

It shouldnt be too hard to make your own I would suggest using an aluminum can or styrene sheet to make the side skirts. Ive used aluminum cans before to gets cool effects of detachable side skirts. In my oppinion the biggest problem you will run into is matching the colors of the origional tank once you make your sideskirts.

Not if you use colours from Vallejo they match perfectly what manufacturers are using. one has to remember that skirts were damaged/lost and replaced with different ones from different tanks. They also took the brunt of weathering and battle damage than the actual tank so, you can get away with a lot less paint exactness on skirts.
