Papa Zulu...RIP... (2 Viewers)

Joe has been on my mind a lot lately. I never did get to talk to him or meet him. Other than some messages here on the forum.Always kind, always full of encouragement and enthusiasm. Seemed to be a real Prince of a guy.
Getting ready for our January Isandlawana war game. Thinking of the LT. as I work on the table. 187924thfootA2LG.jpgDSC_0013_edited-1.jpgDSC_0015.JPGDSC_0016.JPGDSC_0010_edited-1.jpg

We'll drink a toast to Joe , and the game will be in his Honor.

Having known Joe, I know he would have loved to have seen these pics. We had talked in the past about your dioramas and he always enjoyed seeing your photos and over sized dioramas.^&cool As I myself always love seeing your work.

I think the thing that Joe enjoyed the most about the forum was seeing all the great diorama photos and Mini dios that he was key on getting us started with here on the forum.
Joe loved setting up and photographing his Mini Zulu scenes, They will be missed!

Thanks for keeping Joe,s Spirit alive with the photos Scott!^&cool

Nice photos Scott, I am sure Papa Z will be enjoying these :)

He really did love to see what was going on with everyones dios and what new figures they had received.

I know he is up there muttering to himself why I haven't posted pics of my new Zulus..........I must get on that !!

RIP Joe, always a great guy to talk to through pm and he had a great collection and was always one for kind comments on anyone's dioramas or podts!

You will be missed!

Scott

I feel horrible to think that I missed the news of the LT's "promotion". He was a great encourager and such a delightful human being. I go through fits and spurts in my activity with the hobby and more than once he was the one who motivated me to get busy again. I don't have many real friends in the hobby. Joe was one. I will miss his unending enthusiasm and positive outlook. God bless, Joe. You will be remembered.

I don't know how i have missed the lts passing. I read his threads on the forum every day for years. I thought he just got tired of the forum and quit posting. Its sad to hear he has passed. He did a great job on this forum and was greatly appreciated by many. He was the king of zulu trophy. . Hears to ya lt. Thanks for evrything
