To the stars through difficulties- Per Ardua Ad Astra :)

There is no denying that those are some excellent vehicles with loads of dio potential. I don't collect the RAF line but it sure is the best looking line that KC does. That RAF blue is just eye-catching, especially that fuel bowser. Happy collecting, guys. -- Al

The one on the right in the second photo from Gordon is the version made years ago and hard to find.

The bigger one is the release, perhaps the smaller one is a model they used in the design process of their own or an early release?

Rob

Wow...the big bowser looks especially impressive next to the smaller one (whether it's an earlier model or a prototype). It's also helpful to see it next to the ambulance and the Spitfire to get a gauge of its relative size.

One question/request - will there be a stretcher party (or something similar, like wounded pilots) to go with the RAF ambulance? If so...I'll hold off and buy it. If not...I'll settle for the retired FOB stretcher bearers while they are still available, or possible sell the ambulance.

As it is, the ambulance - while a nice piece - feels incomplete without wounded.

As I mentioned, the smaller vehicle is the version issued in 1995/96.

Please see the following.

Totally agree Been saying that for a while. or, a ground crewman carrying a wounded pilot. It has to happen soon
