In my Normany dio I have mixed K&C and TGM figures without any problem . The scene is set in Audouville -La -Hubert the first village in Normandy where the junction was made between the troops coming from Utah beach and the paratroopers ( 101st) The scene depicts the village coming to life early morning, the kids on their way to the village school, the farmers bringing their vegetables to the local market and the paras together with soldiers of the 4th US Inf Div.entering the village and dashing across the street in persuit of the enemy. There are roadworks in the village main street and the German sign post shows the way not only to the next village but also to the coastal defenses ( Widerstandsnest 7-8-10 and Stützpunkt 9)
There are a lot of details in this dio, can you spot them all ?

Nice dio. I don't have the Para shushing the child but, what is up with the hat it is very wide and looks like he is carrying the whole Bocage. I thought it was former Everton player Fillaini at first!!LOL

Nice one Guy, the attention to detail is amazing. Always thought the kid's clothing looked too modern, no doubt they are accurate for the times, but I imagine them on a Swiss skiing holiday a few years ago, so I passed on them. :salute::, Robin.

I second you on the initiative of matching up TGM, K&C and going a bit further First Legion and Hinchliffe ( no longer exists as a company )in my Normany dio without any problem . The scene is set in and arrounf the boucage...could be close to your Audouville -La -Hubert.....It is us to make our imagination fly.....contrary to your troops, my Germans are just ready to lay some heavy counter artillery fire and ambush the fist Allied tanks as they roll into town{sm4}:salute::^&grin:

Hi Guy, So as to keep the 4th US Inf Div. from leaving the village of Audouville - La Hubert and start roaming around the boucage..., the Germans are just ready to lay some heavy counter artillery fire and ambush the fist Allied tanks as they roll and special German Para fire support to deal with any flat foot squad that may escape the barrage.....
