*This set has a non-factory sticker on the bottom of the officer's base which indicates that is the 17th Punjab Regiment.

This Kingcast set recently appeared on eBay: 45TH RATTRAY'S SIKHS COLOUR PARTY, 1897. I believe that this is set K35 or BI28 which should have 7 pieces rather than the 5 shown.

This is Kingcast's set WA01 which appeared earlier this year on eBay. I don't know what the catalog set name is, but they appear to be World War I British Flying Corps personnel.

Mike,
Hi.
I recently picked up this Kingcast Greek National Band on ebay. Bill the Bandman sold it to me. Unfortunately there was no box, but I like the set all the same.
Do you know if Kingcast sold any other Greeks?
Kingcast 16 piece Greek Band.jpg
Thanks,
MikeNick

Hi Mike,

When I sent you the heads up on the Greek band set you ultimately picked up on eBay, I didn't mention that I was not sure if it was a Kingcast set or not. Actually, I suspect that it is not because of the articulated arms, the facial detail & painting, they are stepping off on their right foot, and it would have been out of character for Kingcast to have made this set. I could be wrong, maybe Tom Dubell has some insight, in any case, it is a neat set. Congratuations on your acquisition.

Mike

This Kingcast set BA34 (aka K47) Royal Engineer Submarine Miners 1893, was on eBay earlier this year.

I LOVE the Kingcast line ! I recently sold my newer 40 pdr. siege gun (Indian Army, British crew) but kept the older boxed one...I also have 4-5 other sets, including the Royal Marine Lt. Infantry Color Party at attention, the "Wolf of Mafeking" howitzer and crew, and the RHA gatling gun and crew, among others. My only complaint about the gun sets is that sometime the wheels on shorter axles are sometimes bent inwards or outwards, not a huge complaint...

Wish I had a digital camera to put these great sets up on the Forum -

This unboxed set, described as unidentified by the seller, recently appeared on eBay. Of course, it is Kingcast set K8 34th SIKH PIONEERS; it sold for $92.99. The buyer also won two other Kingcast Indian Army sets and may have also won two others which I didn't keep track of.
