Dear Collectors,

We had a really good time at the lunch with Figarti event. 50 people were there to share the excitement and fun. Unlike the previous years, I actually separated the conference room into two rooms with one being the dining area and presentation area. But what people did not know was behind the movable wall was our WOW presentation of the LCT6. When I revealed it, got some surprised reaction. Anyway, if you missed it this year, try to make it in 2010, its really pretty fun...... and best of all, a FREE lunch

Did anyone get the measurements on the LCT/6?? length, width, weight??

4 feet long and 13 inches wide. It is not too heavy ... Rick said the internal hull of the LCT was hollow and had cross ribs that could support a real person.

Some type of strong but light resin with metal detail pieces. All the rails are welded brass and very strong!!!

I got there late with my two daughters, but as i entered the room ijust kinda of opened my mouth and couldn't say much . It was terrific. My 12yr old hannah even thought it was awesome. From the three boats to the numerous vehicles to the beach obstructions to the six giant mats from build arama it was awesome. And the boats crew looked great. Really well painted. Thanks to rick and the boys.

Kudos to Figarti. I haven't been able to attend Chicago however it seems that from TREEFROGGERS and the pictures I've seen that the centrepiece of the event is the shock and awe piece. Its quite a delight and definitely a highlight for our hobby. It probably is not done for commercial success however more for artistic and brand recognition reasons. I applaud them for advancing the hobby and keeping things exciting.

It's really incredible. The odd thing was that when Rick announced it, the place was kind of quiet, perhaps in shock I don't know. Now, that I look at the photos I took, I'm awed by his creation. I wouldn't be surprised if this does very well. For the first time, I'm actually considering getting one of these Shock and Awe pieces.

Rick pointed out one interesting little innovation on the hatch: How does the hatch stay closed? No one had really thought about it but he pointed out that he had placed little magnets on the hatch and the craft so that it stays up. Simple but I think it shows Figarti's attention to detail. Nothing is left unthought.
