Farewll my friend, you will never be forgotten...

Thanks for sharing so those of us who never met him get to put a face to the name. Seems like he was a very liked guy.

Thanks for sharing Brad, what a wonderful infectious smile and cheeky grin, a sad loss.

Thanks Brad! Those bring back some great memories.

Agreed, great photos! The one year I duly remember Larry suggesting that a diet should be in my future, now I know what he was talking about! In all seriousness, have thought a lot about Larry over the last 6 months, and I take great joy in the good times I got to enjoy with him.

One story, I have to tell as it defines Larry's zest for life and his collection. I was one of the rare visitors to the "dungeon", it was the basement of his apartment building where the storage lockers are. Larry used to tell me about these and I could never get a visual. Well...........he took me down during one of my visits and said, hey let me show you what I was talking about, so we went down and it basically is a very crowded locker room and he said, hey give me asec, I will unlock them. SO, I am waiting and I hear one clink, 2 clinks, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 , I lost count after that. I felt like a little kid with the keys to the kingdom when we started going through them. He was so kind, that he allowed me and a few others to basically oh and ah for the better part of a hour opening boxes and seeing sets I have never seen before. Larry loved every minute of it, the thrill of finding, acquring the figures is one thing, he also had the same zest when viewing, admiring, displaying and accounting for them. He just loved this hobby and life in the same manner and was so even keel. I only wish I did half a good of job of "smelling the roses along this journey of life" like he did.

PS - I was barred from taking photos...............just kidding!

I never got to the dungeon but he had some amazing stuff. I remember during one of the Symposiums, maybe 2006 or 2007, he had purchased this amazing collection from a collector in Canada and it included some amazing presentation boxes; I don't think the figures had ever been taken out of their original wrapping. On a completely unrelated note, we both had sons in college and my son was (and is) going through some tough times and he was very encouraging whenever we saw each other and had a chance to talk about it.

Thanks for gathering these photos Brad. I had been looking through mine trying to find some from the symposiums I have attended.
Larry was a great guy who will be greatly missed by many.
