Do you need an American Tour Guide ????????

I could give the special "this how America Save Your A**" tour  - 1918 & 1942 verisons - That should be a real treat - :D

Just Kidding.............................;)

Naughty! When you off to the symposium then Ron,bring back some info for us.Hey i know what your dying to ask Andy, when we getting that 88MM?!

Rob

I am going to BEG ANDY FOR AN 88 - just to shut yall up.

For the love of everything - please make an 88 - please (denote: I am on the floor at his feet)

How much would something like that cost???:D:D:D

Andy quoted the cost of this particular diorama and flatcar (figures and vehicles not included) as US$3,500.00. It took Gordon about two weeks to make. The building took 3 days. The new Work Shop division has a substantial number of orders and certain collectors are willing to pay these prices for Gordon's work.:)

I thought it would be way north of $2,000. It looks stunning but I think it's out of the range of most of us, even the well heeled ones.

Ah, the old "figures not included" statement :D

Yes its a wonderful piece, but that is quite a chunk of change.

Njja:eek:

Out of my league i'm afarid.Oh well

Rob

:DDoes anyone know who actually buys most of Gordon's work:confused::D?? Is it company's or just people like us??:eek:

Up until recently it was mostly collectors buying these dioramas. In the past, most sold for between $750 and $1,500. The only time Andy ever asked for more than $3,000 was for the huge Saracen Castle diorama. But I guess with Gordon's skills increasing so much, even a smaller diorama with one of these wonderful buildings is going to be that expensive. Even I blanch at spending that kind of money.

Its a big chunck of change that is for sure - Louis.

Is Andy bringing any of these dioramas with him ? - I know you have a few and I do look forward in seeing them up close.

I am very much looking forward to meeting you this weekend.

Ron

Can Gordon make any kind of diorama you ask for??? You know if its possible to build it!!!!:confused:confused:

Yes, Gordon can do that and I think that's been talked about before but there may be a long line in front of you. You should contact him through King and Country.
