My wife is fed up with my soldiers. She took watercolors and began to draw pictures
This is a picture size 30cm x40 cm
(She was not an artist, she took a brush in hands a year ago
This is the first work that she decided to show)
 
Looks like good ambush country Igor.
Stick a few soldiers in front of it - or maybe cowboys and indians, if you have some. Don't worry about any agro - she will soon get used to them.
I have a couple of Scots Greys horses that could do with a spotty paint job like those trees. Any chance ??? Johnny

She was very worried
To use the picture as a background she does not allow.:(
I put it in a frame and hung on the wall:eek:
 
Very nice work, and regarding using it for backgrounds, you should reproduce it and sell it as a backdrop. It would be perfect!

It's an excellent painting, Igor! Very worthy of hanging on the wall in a nice frame....with a shelf in front of it and some figures on that shelf! :eek:

Seriously, she does lovely work, and you both should be very proud. I've tried flat art (canvas not figures!) and it involves considerable talent. I'm a bit jealous!!

Russian winter

this landscape Irina started and finished last winter
It is naive and simple But this was her first completed work

Pictures which Irina draws is around our country house
( located 200 km from St. Petersburg to the east)
This weekend the temperature was -32 degrees Celsius

Just been able to take a look at these. Sometimes comments take a few days.

These are very nice also Igor.
 
Very nice, your wife is very talented. My wife Tatiana is Russian born, and lived in Saint Petersburg near Park Pobedi for many years. When I paint a toy soldier I sometimes ask her to paint the eyes because she is better than me at that. Otherwise, her major artistic talent is shopping:). Ochen Priyatna.

and also like shopping
Maybe the whole thing in this place:D
