There is not currently enough allied stuff to do a thread like arnhem and the bulge, but I thought I might kick off a thread to post desert pics in????

This first offering is from a custom built diorama in Louis' collection - thanks to Louis for allowing people to see his fabulous collection....

Harry - look forward, your photo posts have been brilliant. Hope you had a good break (and had the required amount of 'trouble').

Here's another 'on account'.....another from Louis' collection, different dio base and rare wooden 25pdr

Thanks, I love the desert stuff myself, I had an uncle in the RA on 25pdrs in the desert and my primary school Head was also a (wounded) vet from the desert.

Plus the toy soldiers are great. I hope you forgive some oldies......

It all looks fantastic Kevin- thanks for the shots of the older stuff as well- you certainly have a collection any collector would dearly treasure!!

Strangly enough, although the Beaufighter was a much better aircraft, I actually prefer the Beaufort - probably cos I had the old 1/72 Frog model when I was a kid.

Cheers
H

I liked that one too! I can't remember now but I had one too - Airfix?

Still fighting around Arnhem too
